Grown in Kirinyaga on the nutrient-rich red volcanic soils of the southern slopes of Mount Kenya, those coffee cherries are brought to process at Kii Coffee Washing Station, Part of the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society, which has supported more than 3,000 coffee farmers since 1958.
Carefully hand-sorted Cherries undergo 16-20 hours of fermentation before being fully washed and slowly dried on raised beds for 10-21 days.
A refined and highly expressive cup, with vibrant Shikuwasa lime acidity layered over ripe Concord grape and delicate notes of coconut sugar. Light-bodied and remarkably articulate, the cup has a graceful clarity that allows each layer to unfold with precision. As it cools, a subtle lactic character emerges, leading into a long, intriguing finish with yogurt-like tang and gentle umami—a distinctive expression of its fermentation.

Ethically Sourced
We work directly with producers we know and trust — most of whom we've partnered with for years. These long-term relationships help us source better coffee and support the people behind it in a real, lasting way.
Freshly Roasted Coffee
Every bag is roasted to order in small batches and sent straight from our roastery to your door. No shortcuts, no sitting on shelves — just fresh coffee, made with care.
Fairly Traded Always
Fair Trade has been part of our sourcing from the very beginning. It’s one way we make sure our coffee supports the communities who grow it, as much as the people who drink it.
Quality, Cup after Cup
We taste every coffee again and again — from first roast to final blend — to make sure it meets our standards. Whether it’s a new single origin or a longtime favorite, it doesn’t leave the roastery until it tastes just right.
